WiFi Ferndale is incorporated as an L3C, which is a not-just-for-profit. Your donations wouldn’t be tax deductible, but the L3C designation is a declaration that profit isn’t our motivation and we can accept money from foundations and grants. It’s a happy medium where we don’t have to suffer a board of directors and things actually get done.
